Headrest monitors

The headrest monitor is the dream of many drivers and passengers. The latter want to be able to watch a movie or listen to music while driving. And the drivers? This decision will be appreciated by everyone who carries a child in the back seat. You can install the audi q5 monitor by clicking on the link.

Why is the monitor in the headrest

Because the easiest way is to take a little passenger who stops shouting “I don’t want a bear, give me a dinosaur, I don’t like to drink it” and takes care of the adventures of his favorite heroes. And when they are no longer favorites - which can happen almost immediately - the baby is told a different story.

Headrest monitors are a solution typically reserved for luxury and high end vehicles. Often we will also meet them in fancy buses carrying a few important people. But in reality, advances in technology meant they found their way to thatched roofs, or rather, to a lot of cheaper cars.

Installing monitors

So if we have a car that doesn't have monitors from the factory, the easiest solution is to buy a headrest with a monitor (or two headrests) from the twin model. Or from another model of the same brand. Many automakers produce in their factories headrests of the same or similar size to many cars. All you have to do is choose a headrest with a monitor and evaluate its benefits. Okay, that's not all, because you also need to have the right movie player and pull cables. A moderately gifted amateur electronics engineer can easily cope with this, but for people who do not have the appropriate knowledge and skills, it is better to turn to an auto electrician. It won't take him long to tie everything up. Of course, you still need to buy a suitable MP4 player - but you already have it in some consumer electronics store.

TV for car

The second solution - perhaps easier to install and more convenient to use - is a car TV. Of course, we are not talking about 40-inch equipment. Small portable TVs usually have a screen size of 7 to 10 inches. You can connect them to your car stereo or pick up a normal TV signal. Interestingly, the player is not particularly needed. You can insert a memory card into the TV or connect a flash drive with movies, music or photos to it. It's a good option for anyone who wants portable motion picture viewing equipment - whether in the car, camping or in the garage.

Fairy tale on a tablet

However, the solution that is currently gaining the most popularity is the use of … tablets. This makes a lot of sense. Tablets are, firstly, quite popular and inexpensive, and secondly, they are universal. A small child can play a movie or a fairy tale, let the older one play an educational game, adult passengers can also watch something or go online. In truth, most standard headrest monitors are inferior to them in every way. In most new cars, you can wirelessly connect to their media center and play music from your tablet or phone. What we need? All we need is a charger and a suitable headrest holder. These handles are quite often attached to the headrest bars, which ensures good maintenance of the equipment.
