Hands of god

God's hands are a symbol used in Slavic beliefs. In this symbol we see four lightning arms with five or six fingers, which form an equal shoulder cross. The arms of the cross, facing the four cardinal points, are an expression of the omnipotence of the creator. The ridges at the ends can symbolize rain, clouds, or sunbeams.

Quotation from Wikipedia:

“The symbol known as the“ Hands of God ”comes from an ashtray discovered in 1936 at an archaeological site in Biała in the ód Voivodeship, dating back to the XNUMXrd-XNUMXth centuries AD (Przewor culture). During World War II, due to the presence of a swastika on it, the ship was used by the Nazis for propaganda purposes. The ashtray was lost during the retreat of the Germans from Lodz, and until now only its plaster copy is known "

Although this symbol was used for propaganda purposes, it is now most commonly used in Slavic or pagan beliefs.
