Romuva

Romuva is a symbol of the Romuva religion, which refers to the pre-Christian beliefs of the Balts. This religion was officially registered in 1992 in Lithuania. Romuva is also a colloquial term for the local Baltic religion.

This symbol is stylized as an oak, representing the axis of the world, the motif of the "tree of life" known in mythology.

The three levels shown on the symbol represent three worlds: the world of living or modern people, the world of the dead or the passage of time, and the world to come (future). On the other hand, the flame is a ritual found in religious ceremonies.

The inscription "Romuve" under the rune sign means a sanctuary or root.
