Sigi Bafometa

The Sigil of Baphomet or the Pentagram of Baphomet is the official and legally protected sign of the Church of Satan.

This symbol first appeared in Stanislav de Guayt's 1897 "Clef de la Magi Noir". In the original version, the names of the demons "Samael" and "Lilith" were inscribed in the sigil of Bahoment.

This symbol has three components:

  • Inverted pentagram - symbolizes the domination of nature and the elements over spiritual aspects.
  • The Hebrew letters at each point of the star, read clockwise from below, form the word "Leviathan."
  • Baphomet's heads are inscribed in an inverted pentagram. The top two points correspond to the horns, the lateral points correspond to the ears, and the lower points correspond to the chin.
