Valknut

Valknut is a symbol also called the knot of the fallen (direct translation), or the heart of Hrungnir. This sign consists of three interconnected triangles. This is the sign of the warriors who fell with sword in hand and are heading to Valhalla. Most often found on runestones and images of Viking Age commemorative stones.

He was found, among other things, on the grave of the ship - the grave of two women (including one of the highest social circles). There are various theories about what this symbol means. One of the most likely indicates that the symbol may be associated with religious practices surrounding death. Another theory points to the connection of this sign with Odin - it symbolizes the power of God and the power of his mind. After all, Valknut is depicted in the drawing of Odin on a horse, depicted on several commemorative stones.

The latter theory points to the connection of this symbol with the giant Hrungnir, who died in the battle against Thor. According to mythology, Hrungnir had a stone heart with three horns.
