Point within the Circle

Point within the Circle

In some images of the symbol, there is the letter B on the right, and the letter E on the left. The point inside the circle in Freemasonry is associated with St. John the Baptist (B) and John the Evangelist (E). These two are the main Masonic saints.

In Freemasonry, the Dot, the black dot in the middle of the circle, symbolizes the individual mason.

The circle described denotes the border between the duties of a brother to God and people. The Freemason must be confined within the circle.

He should not allow personal desires, passions, interests, or anything else to lead him astray.
