Acacia tree

The acacia tree is an incredibly hardy and durable tree that has been used throughout ancient history to represent immortality. It is for this reason that the Jews marked their graves with a sprig of acacia.

In keeping with Freemasonry's belief in an afterlife, the acacia tree represents their everlasting, immortal souls.
