Flower of Life

Flower of Life - This symbol is one of the many signs of "sacred geometry". It is an interesting pattern that has been seen in religious contexts around the world for several millennia.

The earliest example of the use of this geometric system may be the still visible feature of the Flower of Life in the Temple of Osiris at Abydos. This sign can also be seen in the cultures of the ancient regions of Assyria, India, Asia, the Middle East, and later medieval art.

This thin network of overlapping circles in a particular pattern is called the "Flower of Life" because it contains a number of other shapes within a seemingly simple pattern, leading some to regard this sign as the "blueprint for creation."
