Thor's Hammer

It is presented here in two versions. The sign of the hammer of Thor symbolizes the sun wheel, the seasons, a thunderbolt or a flash of lightning. It acts simultaneously as an instrument of creation and destruction. The hammer of the Scandinavian god Thor Mjöllnir was used not only as a throwing weapon, but also as a ritual means of establishing treaties and marriages. The sun cross is used for protective purposes, instead of words to initiate runes.
