Symbol of Hathor
Symbol of Hathor - Egyptian hieroglyph depicting the headdress of Hathor, the goddess of love, beauty and fertility. This sign represents a solar disk surrounded by horns.
The horns are visible because the goddess was originally represented as a cow, and then as a woman with a cow's head.
Hathor is the equivalent of the Roman goddess Venus or the Greek Aphrodite.
As with the Venus emblem, the Sign of Hathor is often depicted or in the form of a mirror.
