Red Poppies

Red poppy is a flower used in memory of those killed during the First and Second World Wars. In fact, poppy is one of the few plants that can grow naturally on the disturbed lands of Western Europe. After the war ravaged the country, poppies bloomed. The red poppy resembled the blood of fallen soldiers. Even now, years later, this flower is still a symbol of war, death and memory.
