Chrysanthemums

While these flowers are often a sign of encouragement, they can also often be found in graves. People have been growing chrysanthemums for thousands of years. In 15th century China, people believed that these flowers had the power of life. Even though they've come a long way, you can still see mums at funerals and cemeteries. This doesn't make them any less awesome.
