Treasure Vase

The Buddhist style treasure vase is modeled after traditional Indian clay water pots. The vase is mainly used as a symbol for certain wealthy deities, but it also represents the infinite quality of the Buddha's teachings. In typical Tibetan representation, the vase is very richly decorated with gold color and patterns of lotus petals at various points. He is also usually covered with a series of gems and a sacred silk scarf around his neck.
