Tattoo abstraction

For many centuries of the existence of mankind and the development of the art of painting the body, different styles and directions of tattoos have developed. Scientifically proven is the fact of the appearance of peculiar pictures on the body of ancient people in ancient times, when people were just trying to master the most ancient tools.

Today, many modern people decorate their bodies with drawings, which, in terms of meanings, can be divided into the following categories:

  • multilayer;
  • realistic;
  • straightforward;
  • on abstract topics.

Abstraction tattoos are often chosen by those who want to transform and decorate their bodies, but do not want to put any semantic load into such pictures, understandable to everyone around them.

Abstract tattoos are absolutely non-binding, so their creators can use the power of imagination to the fullest and create real masterpieces of "body painting". Today the most common fancy ornaments or patternsplaced on the body in a certain order or even chaotically - it all depends on the imagination of the owner of such a picture.

Studying the tendency of modern people to apply abstraction to the body of a tattoo, we can conclude that this style is impressed by extraordinary personalities who want to express their originality and non-standard thinking, a different perception of the surrounding reality with body painting. Such people do not want to live by the rules and patterns, their philosophy of life differs from the generally accepted philosophy of their contemporaries.

What is the difference between abstract tattoos for men and women?

Today, considering a photo of a tattoo in the form of an abstraction, it does not even come to mind that such drawings (it is quite clear that they did not have anything similar with modern drawings) were applied by the Scythians and Indians. In ancient times, similar ornaments on the shoulder or body of a warrior told about his victories and achievements.

Our contemporaries, applying abstraction tattoos for men, do not plan to demonstrate their strength and skills of a hunter, but put a completely different meaning into the drawing, demonstrating part of their inner world and deep philosophy.

But one thing that our contemporaries have in common with ancient hunters is still the choice of the place where the drawing is applied: on the shoulder or on the arm. This choice of place is not accidental - emphasizing the beauty of pumped up triceps and biceps, men, thus, demonstrate their strength and masculinity.

Of course, an abstract tattoo of a picture on a thin man's body will look ridiculous and, most likely, emphasize weakness, so daily training will help eliminate such risks. After the muscles acquire volume and relief, you can begin to apply the image.

Abstraction for girls is approached to the choice of a tattoo from the opposite side - they want to emphasize femininity, grace, elegance. Therefore, the places for applying such drawings are not at all "male" - the ankle, the bend of the neck, lower back... Stylistically, the feminine version of paintings in this style can intersect with watercolors. In the photo you will see bright, saturated paintings that really should be attributed to watercolor images, but due to the lack of a clear plot, they were nevertheless placed in the gallery of abstract tattoos.
