I tried the Hanacure face mask and it was an experience to say the least.

As the beauty and skin care "experimenter" on our team, I've tried a lot of weird stuff. Such experience includes, but is not limited to: running a half marathon from the front waterproof makeup and get intense face workout including some slaps and radio frequencies. So no wonder I was excited to check Hanakure face mask, a multi-functional mask that freezes your face for benefits such as brightening, evening skin tone, detoxifying, lifting, firming, brightening and more.

So, at 10:30 on a Sunday morning, I woke my boyfriend up and told him that he needed to help me put on a face mask - you can imagine how excited he was for this early morning adventure (everything before the coffee). When we first looked at the packaging, we noticed that this is a luxurious system. Inside the sleek white package was Set of multifunctional medical masks contains four ampoules of lifting serum, four gel packs and a brush for applying color to the product. This is the perfect do-it-yourself skincare, but it's also expensive. The set costs $110 - not a penny less.ce for the face and significantly more than a regular sheet mask. This gives you a total of four masks, or one per season (if you're Type A and prefer to keep everything in your life structured).

How did everything go

Opening the lifting serum ampoule, I folded back the corner of the gel solution to the dotted line, as shown in the picture. From there, I poured the serum into the gelling solution, capped the solution, and then shook them for about 20 seconds. Not surprisingly, due to my own clumsiness, I managed to spray some around the room. actually want to make sure the edges are sealed with your fingers.

After shaking vigorously, I used the brush provided to quickly apply the gel formula to my face and neck. I didn't apply the formula too close to the under eye area because I was nervous about the effect of the mask, but looking back, I wish I could get a little closer. From there, I embarked on a 30-minute waiting game in which my face "froze", making it impossible for me to speak without mumbling and looking like I had aged over a decade. At some point, I put my face up to the fan, as this was supposed to increase the intensity of the mask - in other words, this is the feeling of freezing the face. As the air blew into my face, I felt the mask shrink. It's a strange feeling, but also a strange satisfaction.

When the 30 minutes were up, I washed off the formula with lukewarm water and was surprised to find that my face turned bright red. I looked like I'd run ten miles, or ended up with some sort of troubling rash. My dive into the YouTube Hanacure tutorials didn't give me any warning about this, which led me to believe that I had done something very, very wrong. I had a hard time focusing on the benefits of a mask with such a crazy blush, so my first step was to soothe the skin. I applied a soothing moisturizer and after about an hour and a half, the redness finally subsided. If you have sensitive skin, be aware that you may experience this for a longer period of time.

Verdict

For me, the biggest overall difference in my skin was that my pores got smaller and overall my skin looked brighter and more even. I enjoyed the results of this mask the next morning instead of the same day (I was too busy with my redness anxiety). The next day, my skin finally calmed down and looked brighter than it had been in so long. My day usually depends on how my skin looks when I wake up in the morning, and on this day everything looked very, very promising.

When I use the Hanacure mask again, I will make sure to apply every last drop of the formula. I left some in the gel solution pack because I already covered my entire face and neck. I think that may be why my skin didn't "freeze" as much as some other people online. As for whether I'm going to buy this again in the future, next time I'll probably choose a disposable one. I received my first test kit from Hanakure and while it left me with great looking skin, I'm not sure I'm willing to shell out $110 for the same set.

So, if you are a curious disguiser, I highly recommend that you give starter kit back. It contains everything you need for a one-time use to determine if it's right for you. If you like it, you can dedicate yourself to a big set one day, and if you really like it, you can show off your frozen face selfies on the "gram".
