I tried the Korean method 7 Skin and this is what happened

When it comes to beauty trends, I'm no stranger. I've tried evening out my complexion with a skincare-inspired highlighter, correcting my complexion for flawless makeup, entering a no-makeup makeup contest, and more. My latest experiment? A Korean beauty trend known as the "seven skins method". Learn more about this popular skin care technique and check out my review of the technique.

WHAT IS THE KOREAN SEVEN SKIN METHOD?

Before I share my experience, let's discuss what the Korean Seven Skin Method really is. In short, the popular K-beauty trend is a skincare routine that involves applying seven layers of toner to the skin in the name of hydrated skin. You are probably wondering why anyone would ever agree to spend more time than necessary on one step in their already extensive 10 step program, and I understand that seven coats of toner seems a bit redundant, but trust me me when I say it was well worth the investment of time.

WHICH TONIC CAN I USE FOR THE KOREAN SEVEN SKIN METHOD?

When it comes to toner, especially one you're going to use seven times in a row, we recommend using an alcohol-free hydrating toner formulated to leave skin feeling soft, smooth and balanced.

HOW TO USE THE KOREAN SEVEN SKIN METHOD IN YOUR BEAUTY TREATMENT

As I mentioned earlier, the Korean seven-skin method is a technique that requires applying seven layers of your favorite facial toner - however, this does not mean that you need to do seven quick strokes on the face with a cotton pad soaked in toner ... like most cosmetics. rituals, there is a method of madness. Keep reading for a step by step guide to the K-beauty Seven Skin Method.

Step one: Cleanse your skin with a mild cleanser.

It goes without saying, but the first step in any skincare routine should be cleansing. Skin cleansing can not only help remove pore-clogging dirt and debris from the surface of the skin, but also create a fresh, cleansed canvas.

Step Two: Use a cotton pad to apply the first layer of toner to your skin.

After you've cleansed your skin, apply a coin-sized alcohol-free toner to a cotton pad and gently swipe it over your skin and neck. Once all areas are covered, allow the toner to soak in before moving on to the third step/next coat.

Step Three: Pour the toner into your palms and gently press the toner onto your skin.

After the first layer of toner has absorbed, it's time to apply the second layer. For layers two through seven, you don't need a cotton pad—a pair of clean hands is enough! When you're ready to apply, add a coin-sized amount of toner to the palm of your hand, rub your hands together, and then gently press them against your skin and neck. Then wait for your skin to absorb the product before proceeding to the third layer.

Step Four: Repeat Step Three until you reach the lucky number seven.

After waiting for your skin to absorb the previous layer of toner, follow the instructions in the third step for the next five layers.

Step Five: Apply a light moisturizer.

When the process of applying the toner is completed, it is time to moisturize. We recommend using a light moisturizer to hydrate the skin.

MY RESULTS AFTER TRYING THE SEVEN-SKIN METHOD

To be honest, I expected this experiment to go great, especially after seeing so many girls sharing their amazing results on social media, but I never expected it to go as well as it did. After applying seven layers of toner to my skin, my skin looked soft, supple and fresh. What else? Seven layers of toner gave my skin a beautiful glow. After a week and about 49 coats of toner, my dry, post-winter skin looked nourished and radiant.

While this skin care technique has given me better results than I expected, I don't think I'll be using this trend as part of my daily routine just yet. Because, to be honest, even as a skincare obsessive person who diligently follows my 10 step skincare routine, I could do a lot of other things in the time it takes to apply seven layers of toner. to my skin. That being said, I will of course continue to apply toner as the second step in my regular skincare routine - it's a step in my skincare routine that I don't skip - and I'll use the Seven Skins Method every time I want to pamper. your skin with some TLC.
