Editor's Choice: The Cleansing Pads You Need If You Have Oily Combination Skin

There's no shortage of cleansers to rid your skin of dirt, excess sebum, and pore-clogging impurities, and almost everyone has their type. Some people like the gel texture, some like the oily feel of creams, and others want the exfoliating properties of a scrub or an alpha hydroxy acid. While I'm not into any particular type of cleanser, I have to admit that cleansing wipes are a game changer in my daily routine, especially when I'm feeling lazy (hey, it happens). They're easy to use, super convenient to carry around - think office, gym, etc. - and don't require close proximity to a sink to use. This may be music to the ears of frequent campers or campers, but to me it means that cleansing your face while sitting on a duvet has never been so easy and rewarding. So when I found out that La Roche-Posay was releasing some new cleansing wipes, I knew I had to try and review them. Thanks to a recent free sample that landed on my desk, I did just that. Let's just say they have my (lazy girl) seal of approval.

Review of La Roche-Posay Effaclar Cleansing Wipes

As you can imagine, I have tried and tested quite a few cleansing wipes in my time. These oil-free facial wipes definitely stand out from the Effaclar brand line. Formulated with micro-exfoliating LHAs, oil-acting zinc pidolates, and signature soothing antioxidant thermal water to help remove oil and dirt down to microscopic impurities while maintaining skin integrity. The product is recommended for oily skin types to remove sebum and dirt, but people with sensitive skin can rest assured that the formula is gentle enough for them too. I have combination skin that is slightly sensitive and I am happy to report that after just one application my skin was hydrated, clear and soft to the touch. Gently wipe face with facial wipes before use to remove dirt and grease. Be careful not to rub or pull too hard as this can damage the skin. You don't even need to rinse! How easy is it?

Note. On the days I wear heavy makeup - read: glitter eyeshadow, waterproof mascara and thick foundation - I prefer to use these wipes first and then use another gentle cleanser like micellar water or even toner to smooth my face. . make sure all last traces of makeup and dirt are removed.
