These NYC gyms have the best skin care products

One of the biggest challenges I face as a person is making decisions. The biggest ones involve figuring out where to eat dinner. datewhat I will wear in the morning and my current fiasco: where should I commit to getting gym membership. In my defense, making such a decision in New York is akin to spending your hard-earned money on a new apartment or a new car - in short, it's not cheap. My constant struggle with finding a gym makes it difficult to stay in shape, but on the other hand, I have found a way to try many different gyms and activities (see: Classpass, free trials and guest passes from my friends).

So, as a beauty editor, you can bet I'm going to be scouring the dressing rooms for quality products. And since New York is home to so many trendy gyms with similarly quirky products, I went on a quest to test as many as I could. In turn, I discovered products that I no longer want to live without. I don't have a gym to call home, but I do have the following skin care products - and these are can be much worse:

EQUINOX

Equinox can be compared to the following: a luxury spa, luxury living, or a trendy cocktail establishment that you indulge in about once a year. For this reason, the fitness center supplies Kiehl's with changing rooms and a fully stocked store. After showering with all the Kiehl's, you better believe I'm about to get wet case cream и Ultra Moisturizing Face Cream before taking for a day. As for the regime in the locker room, everything is in order here.

MILE HIGH RUN CLUB

No matter what class you sign up for at the Mile High Run Club, you'll come off the treadmill sweatier than you ever imagined. Chances are no amount of dry shampoo can save your hair after a sprint, which means showering is a must. However, I'm so attached to Icelandic hair soap "Red Flower" and a softening conditioner in the gym showers, which I look forward to using during my last few minutes of class. The scent of the shampoo and conditioner is a refreshing floral scent that will hydrate and thoroughly cleanse your hair.

306 FITNESS

Everyone should give their all at 305 Fitness at least once in their life and then be ready to do it again and again. If you've been, you already know that this is somewhere between the coolest party and the sweatiest workout in town. Combined with the cool vibe of the studio, it makes sense that the simple yet highly fashionable skincare brand Malin & Goetz lives in the dressing rooms. Two products that I look forward to every time I'm on the 305 are Shower gel with rum (with the aroma of the best-selling addictive dark rum) and mint shampoo which transforms my sweaty gym hair into fresh, clean curls.

CRISPY TRAINER

On days when I'm not driving my ass to Mile High, I book an hour of free time at the gym at Crunch early in the morning. Working out is always good, but to be honest, I also choose hand soap. How many times have I looked at the red square Happy Buddha Hand Soap by Rituals in the bathroom and consider the theft is alarming. Don't worry, I've never actually done this, but the sweet yet savory scent lifts my spirits instantly and is so much better than the regular $5 soap I have at home.
