Mexican freelance makeup artist and influencer Fernanda Lucia Navarro works @thefantasticmirror, the skincare and makeup Instagram account to be reckoned with. But her beautiful pictures and beauty recommendations are not all we love. Ahead, we chatted with Navarro about her Holy Grail product, her favorite ingredient of the moment, and what skin care product is totally worth the money spent.

We're obsessed with your Instagram beauty account - what inspired you to create it?

Since I work a lot as a makeup artist, my close friends always asked me to recommend my favorite beauty products - and sometimes it was the same questions over and over again, so I decided to create a space where they could find all the products I like to try. and recommended.

Tell us about your current skin care.

The double cleanse is a staple and I also love exfoliation because it works wonders. Often I alternate my routine with vitamin C products for glowing and radiant skin. 

What's the latest skin care product you finished? Would you buy it again?

Company B-Hydra from a drunken elephant. I fell in love with how moisturizing and amazing it feels on my skin.

I will definitely buy it again, and hopefully during the upcoming Sephora sale!

What would you like to know first about skin care?

This moisturizer won't actually make you oily - I've always had the feeling that if I didn't moisturize, my skin would become more matte, which is such a lie!

What is your innocent pleasure in skincare?

Fabric masks! They don't give long-term results, so I don't use them every day, but I love using them on special occasions.

Which skin care ingredient can't get enough of? 

Vitamin C is a must - it makes my skin so radiant and amazing. I highly recommend that you add it to your daily routine if you haven't already.

What is the most frequently asked question in your private messages?

I am always asked about my favorite tonics. My favorite shining tonic, what is rose flower и Vitamin C Tonic from pixie beauty, Rose Petal Thayer и Rose Gold Revitalizing Toner from Bliss.

What do you like most about skin care? 

When people compliment my skin. This way I can say that everything works and that all the time I spend on skin care is really worth it.
