Skin care products for which you should have a place in your hand luggage

Year after year, air travel peaks during the holidays, when many choose to be closer to friends, family and loved ones and take a vacation before the New Year. Whether your flight lasts less than five hours or more than 10, you need to make sure that your skin is not damaged at cruising altitude.

Every seasoned traveler knows that flying and its combination of low humidity and dry recycled cabin air can wreak havoc on your skin, leaving it dry and swollen. To prevent this from happening, make sure you carry your skin care essentials in your hand luggage.

Cleanser: L'Oréal Revitalift Radiant Smoothing Wet Cleansing Toweltes

Have you ever noticed an oily film build up on the surface of your skin during a flight? Believe it or not, this could be a sign that your skin is too dry. When your skin feels dry or dehydrated, such as due to air cabin conditions, it can cause your sebaceous glands to produce more oil to make up for what is considered a loss. As a result, your skin may look overly oily. To help remove excess sebum, dirt and impurities, and prepare skin for additional products, apply this cleansing pad to the contours of your face.

L'Oréal Revitalift Radiant Smoothing Wet Cleansing Wipes. MSRP $6.

Facial Spray: Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water

One of the most important things you can do for your body and skin, especially when traveling, is to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water. To hydrate the skin on the outside and give it a quick in-flight refreshment, mist with a mineral-rich facial mist.
