We're obsessed with your Instagram skincare - what inspired you to start doing it?

I started getting really annoying adult acne so I wanted to do my best to fix it. It was kind of early on in the influence of skin care products. There were so many people I loved following who were so knowledgeable about the different products, ingredients, etc. e. I trusted their judgment. Since then, I've only just started educating myself and become obsessed with skin care, so I started sharing my thoughts.

Tell us about your current skin care.

It keeps changing with the seasons and my irrational skin (which has a mind of its own) but currently I remove my makeup first with Micellar water Caudalie. i clean twice

dermatologist-prescribed wax cleanser (I resisted, but it made a huge difference to

keep me clean). Once or twice a week I use Alpha-Beta Peeling Pads by Dr. Dennis Grossbecause they never get old! They are so nice and make my skin soft like a baby. I will use them forever. I then control my acne with prescription retinol (tazarotene). On a dry day I will use Caudalie SOS Thirst Serum because it is very soothing and soothes any irritation I can get from retinol and if I don't use SOS serum I treat my dark spots with our Vinoperfect radiance serum - it changes lives. For moisturizing I love Fresh Rose Deep Hydrating Moisturizing Cream. Last but not least, eye cream! I walk between Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Eye Balm and Fresh Old Cream. Many eye creams irritate me or give me milia, but these are two gems.

What's the latest skin care product you finished? Would you buy it again?

I'm an ardent fan Serum Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance. If you have acne scars, add it to your cart now. It's crazy for hyperpigmentation, but it's not at all annoying as

Lots of vitamin C serums so great for sensitive skin. Because I'm a nerd, I'll tell you

that its lightening ingredient (grape juice) is 62 times more effective than vitamin C in lightening dark spots.

What would you like to know first about skin care?

Really be patient with the product and let it take its course. With breakout prone skin, it can be very easy to just write off the product after a week when you find yourself ~still~ breaking.

What is your innocent pleasure in skincare?

Devices! I am obsessed with my NuFace Fix. Believe the hype! I did a mini facial with them and they used it on me and my laugh lines literally rubbed off. Needless to say, I'm hooked. I also recently bought a hand held high frequency machine after one of our beauticians

recommended it for my breakouts and just general strengthening and I love it.

Which skin care ingredient can't get enough of?

Retinol. I've been going back and forth between loving him and fearing him, and at the moment I can't get enough. I used a prescription retinol (tazarotene) that my dermatologist recommended to me and it was preparation processbut my skin finally loves it and it's the best thing I've had in the last year.

What do you like most about skin care?

It's therapeutic for me. This is one of the few times a day when my phone is not in my hand and I can just be present. This is the most relaxing feeling.
