Why I can't go a day without makeup NYX Bare With Me Sativa Hemp Seed Oil Hydrating Primer

When it comes to my summer skin care, I always strive for products that can achieve more than one goal. For example, I usually prefer a moisturizer that can hydrate и Prime number my skin for makeup and if you have sunscreen, that's a bonus. That's why when NYX Cosmetics gave me their new Bare With Me Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil SPF 30 Daily Moisturizing Primer to try and rate, my ears perked up when I learned that his formula advertised all three qualities. Can it really moisturize, prime? и protect my skin before makeup? Ahead I gave it a test run to find out.

When I first used this product, I checked the label to see what ingredients I would be working with. This moisturizing primer contains hemp seed oil and glycerin. This formula helps hydrate skin for a radiant, revitalized look. It also has SPF 30 which helps protect the skin from UVA/UVB rays when used as directed. Although the formula is white in the bottle, it promises to blend to a colorless finish. 

I first pumped the formula onto the back of my hand before applying it to my face. Immediately I noticed that it was not watery or runny, which I really liked. When I started applying it on my face, I saw that the consistency was thick and concentrated, but the more I blended it, the lighter it became - it literally melted on my skin. Even though it has SPF, it didn't smell like sunscreen, which was also a win. Instead, it has a very subtle sweet and mild flavor that doesn't seem overpowering. Once fully mixed, the product absorbed quickly and I was able to immediately apply the CC cream over top without a pill in sight. My skin became smooth and supple and I was very impressed with how flawless my makeup was after my routine.

Final thoughts

I have to say that I am really impressed with this hydrating primer. By the end of the day, when I took off my makeup, my skin was as hydrated as it was right after I put on a moisturizing primer in the morning. I felt like it really protected my skin, made my makeup smooth and my skin happy.
