HOW TO APPLY COLOR CORRECTION CONCEALER

Now that we've covered which colors to use for various skin concerns, let's discuss their uses. The use of color-correcting concealers depends on the imperfections you want to hide. If you feel imperfection all over your face, you can apply concealer the same way you would apply foundation or bb cream, or you can mix it with your face makeup for a more multitasking approach. If you're experiencing dullness on your nose, upper lip, chin, and forehead, you can swipe a few dabs over those areas, blend, and apply foundation or BB cream. And so on.

We recommend applying color-correcting concealers to your complexion after primer and before applying any face makeup or concealer that better matches your skin tone. This will help hide imperfections and create the perfect canvas for applying flawless foundation, BB cream and concealer. To apply the complexion correcting concealer, you can do it in several different ways (depending on your preference): either dab a little on the area with the applicator stick, or use a damp blending sponge to blend, dab a little on the complexion and blend with your fingers, or apply to your complexion and blend with a concealer brush.

After the color-correcting concealer has left its mark on your face and blended well, apply a layer of BB cream or foundation, and then apply the concealer that matches your skin tone. This will help ensure that all traces of color corrector are hidden and all you have left is a flawless complexion.

Thought color grading stopped on your complexion? Think again! Your nails can also take part in this action. If your tips are yellowish, try neutralizing the discoloration with essie nail color corrector.
