We've reviewed 5 oil-free foundations so you can choose the best one for you!

Between looking for a matte finish and trying to make sure the product in question won't clog your pores when you have oily skin, finding the right products to suit your needs can seem like a daunting task. This can be especially true when it comes to foundation for oily skin. With the trend in cosmetics leaning towards wet finishes and oil-infused skin care formulas, girls with oily skin may feel like there isn't much for them. Luckily, we've done the digging for you and reviewed five of our favorite oil-free foundations from the L'Oréal brand portfolio below!

Base: L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation. MSRP $12.99.

Why is it Favorite: Sent to us for a brand compliment review, this oil-free foundation offers a semi-matte finish and an airy, lightweight texture. We were obsessed with how it got creamy instead of chalky like so many other oil-free foundations. What's more, with its long wear, we didn't feel the need to reapply throughout the day, which usually doesn't happen when you have oily skin. The semi-matte finish was really unique and we really liked it because real matte foundations can often make our skin look flat and dull, but this one was just right! The lightweight, oil-free foundation comes in 12 shades and can be applied with (clean!) fingers or a makeup brush.

Base: Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation. MSRP $40.

Why is it Favorite: With 24 shades, it was easy to find the right color when we tried this oil-free foundation from Urban Decay. All Nighter is a waterproof longwear liquid foundation that really doesn't come off! We liked how it gave us full coverage and a matte finish without looking flat or chalky. We decided to wear the All Nighter during our bachelorette party to really compete with the foundation for our money. First, we noticed that there was no need to build, as the foundation does provide full coverage the first time. (A little tip: use only one pump, not much is enough with this thing!) Secondly, we noticed that it really lives up to its name and stays in place all night! A definite win in our book and well worth it!

Base: NYX Professional Makeup Stay Matte But Not a Matte Liquid Foundation. MSRP $7.50.

Why is it Favorite: This oil-free, water-based foundation is perhaps the most budget-friendly on our list, priced in the single digits. But don't be put off by the low cost, the foundation is top notch! There are 30 shades so it's easy to find the right color, and the mineral-enriched formula provides full coverage and a matte, but not flat finish, as the name suggests. It doesn't settle into fine lines or any imperfections that may be on the surface of the skin and really helps you look like your skin is flawless!

Base: Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation. MSRP $11.99.

Why is it Favorite: Another inexpensive option is Maybelline's skin-transforming foundation. This oil freethe formula also includes broad-spectrum SPF 15 for much-needed protection from the sun's harmful UV rays. What's more, the formula boasts Actyl C, a durable form of Vitamin C, so you also get a little antioxidant love with every wear! We love how this oil-free foundation combines the best of both worlds - skincare and makeup - and offers a really great oil-free option!

Base:Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation MSRP $47.

Why is it Favorite: This long-lasting, oil-free cushion foundation is perfect for tossing your midday makeup bag on the go! Available in 18 shades, the foundation not only provides a natural matte finish, but also contains SPF 50, making it the most protective foundation on our list! We love that you don't have to sacrifice hydration for an oil-free formula, and we love how you can create coverage based on your mood. It glides on easily and even offers a refreshing cooling effect upon application, which is nice too! For an even more matte finish, consider applying a coat of Lancôme's La Base Pro Pore Eraser Primer first.
