L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blend Artist Foundation Blender Review

Made with exclusive plush material and a comfortable shape, this hot pink shading sponge makes it easy to apply gorgeous makeup.

Why we love it: I use Foundation Blender with liquid and cream foundations and love the result! Not only is the sponge easy to use, it blends smoother and more evenly than my fingers or brush. Airbrushing without an airbrush? I will take it! Some blending sponges feel rough and irritating, but Foundation Blender is incredibly soft and plush. It's like a little pillow touching my skin!

To use, first apply a small amount of foundation to a blender. Then, with quick patting and rolling movements, apply the product to the skin until the desired coverage is achieved.

Pro tip: Use the pointed end of the sponge to apply foundation to your face and the bottom end to blend and blend makeup.

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blend Artist Concealer Blender Review

Concealing skin imperfections with concealer has never been easier. Designed for use with cream and liquid concealers, this blending sponge has a pointed tip and a flat side to easily blend and cover blemishes in hard to reach areas like under the eyes, brow bone and sides. nose.

Why we love it: Unfortunately, I have dark circles under my eyes due to genetics. Thus, applying concealer under the eyes to mask discoloration is a part of my daily routine. When the blending sponge is too big, it's hard to get it to completely blend the concealer without hitting the eyeball. That's why I'm so glad the Concealer Blender has a small, pointed tip that helps me maneuver in tight spaces. It is also incredibly soft and gentle around my delicate eye area. Definite keeper.

To use, first apply a small amount of concealer to a blender. Then use quick patting and circular motions on the areas you want to hide - think around the eyes, on the sides of the nose, and under the eyebrows. Use the tip of the sponge to apply concealer to your face, and with the flat side of the sponge, blend and blend your makeup.

Pro tip: To hide and brighten your face, apply the triangle-shaped concealer under the eyes and blend. Set with powder to prevent the concealer from rolling.

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blend Artist Contour Blender Review

This blending sponge is perfect for powder or cream highlighter and contouring. It has flat, bevelled edges, making it easy to create artfully sculpted and defined facial features. The flat surface of the blending sponge targets and blends the contours of the face, including the hollows on the cheeks, under the jaw and along the hairline.

Why we love it: Who doesn't want chiseled cheekbones and a sculpted chin? With this blending sponge, I can draw lines of highlights and contours AND blend them all with the same tool. As someone who appreciates consistency, I love that the result after using this blending sponge is always the same - smooth, natural coverage.

To use, first apply a small amount of highlighter or contour to a blender. Draw lines around the cheekbones, chin and nose using the tip of a blender. Then, with the flat side of the blender, blend and blend out the highlights and contour lines in a circular motion.

How to clean a makeup blending sponge

It seems obvious, but it's important to clean your blending sponge at least once a week. Cleansing the sponge not only helps ensure your makeup is applied more flawlessly, it also gets rid of pore-clogging bacteria and dirt that can get onto your complexion and cause damage. Not sure how to thoroughly clean your mixing sponge? Don't worry. Here's how it's done.

Step 1. Dip the sponge under the water

To begin, simply rinse your dirty mixing sponge under warm water. Squeeze the sponge gently to remove as much product residue as possible.

Step 2: Apply gentle soap

Take a small bowl and pour in some mild cleansing soap and water. Dip a mixing sponge into the solution. Rinse and wring out the sponge under warm water. You may need to wet the sponge a few times and rinse it to remove any makeup residue. Once the excess water runs clear, your sponge should be clean.

Step 3: Let the blending sponge dry

After washing the sponge, place it on a towel and let it air dry.

Step 4 Store the mixing sponge in a cool, dry place.

When the sponge is dry, store it in a cool, dry place. Keep it away from excessive heat or bacteria breeding areas such as showers.
