Kiehl's Ferulic Brew Facial Essence

I think essences are underrated in the skincare world. These products are usually intended to be used after cleansing and before serums and can help hydrate, soften and brighten the skin. This category has been getting more and more sophisticated lately, and the essence of Kiehl is an example of this. It contains ferulic acid, an antioxidant that helps prevent visible signs of aging and dull color, lactic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid that improves texture and tone, and squalane for hydration. If you see me glowing this summer, it's all thanks to Ferulic Brew.

L'Oréal Paris True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinting Serum

There is nothing I love more than a multitasking product. This serum contains 1% hyaluronic acid and provides lightweight coverage for the perfect skincare/makeup hybrid. I love using it as the last step in my skincare (after SPF, of course!) and as the first step in my makeup. Then I apply concealer and powder and my skin is supple, more even and hydrated throughout the day.

Sol de Janeiro Rio Deo Aluminum Free Deodorant

I switched to aluminum-free deodorants a couple of years ago, and I definitely have a few favorites that I never thought I would give up. But that all changed when the Rio Deo landed in my inbox. This ultra-moisturizing, long-wearing, sweet-smelling formula has become my new favorite. It has a combination of coconut oil, papaya, vitamin C and mango seed oil to hydrate, soften and brighten the underarm area and I have already seen results in just a few weeks.

L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm Intensives 3.5% Glycolic Acid Cleanser

I'm always looking for an exfoliating cleanser that won't rip off my dry, sensitive skin and this fits the bill. Glycolic acid can be irritating so I only use this cleanser two to three times a week and my skin feels softer and smoother every time. The formula also contains soothing aloe extract and is free of parabens, fragrances, dyes and mineral oil.

MDSolarSciences Hydrating Sheer Lip Balm SPF 30 in Bare

I rarely leave the house without at least three lip products in my bag - I have to have the entire base, from balm to gloss! This sheer tint balm has quickly become my new favorite. It's slightly shimmery, feels oily and hydrating on the lips, and you can barely see the flesh color, making it easy to apply on the go without making a mess. The SPF 30 protects my lips and the blend of avocado, jojoba and olive oil hydrates.

Pharmacy Momoterra Body Butter

I was never a fan of body oils until I tried this from Momoterra Apotheca - and I really don't know how I used to live without it. Made from a delicious blend of cold-pressed argan oil, jojoba oil, and sweet almond oil, it melts effortlessly on my skin, leaving it hydrated and soft. Also, a little goes a long way — massaging a quarter-sized amount of sandalwood-scented oil into my legs after a shower makes them glow all day long.

Maybelline New York would suit me! Tinted moisturizer

I have tried quite a few tinted moisturizers, but I keep coming back to Maybelline New York Fit Me! A tinted moisturizer. This one stands out because it goes on more like a lotion than a foundation, evens out the color of my rosacea-prone skin without hiding freckles, and keeps my face hydrated all day long thanks to its aloe formula.

SkinCeuticals Daily Brightening UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 30

Say hello to my new favorite sunscreen that literally does the most. Like standard sunscreens, the formula acts as a line of defense against UV damage, but it doesn't stop there. This daily moisturizing sunscreen contains actives like niacinamide to prevent discoloration (read: UV-induced pigmentation) and brighten and even out my skin tone. As someone with sun spots, this sunscreen is the solution to my (many) summer skincare challenges and will be a permanent fixture in my sun care routine.

Ole Henriksen Cold Plunge Pore Remedy Moisturizer

Between hot, humid weather and my oily skin type, applying a thick layer of moisturizer is really the last thing I want to do in the summer. When Ole Henriksen bought a pore-tightening, cooling moisturizer, I knew I had to give it a try. The lightweight formula with BHA and LHA is pleasant to the touch and provides a refreshing burst of hydration without weighing down the skin or feeling overly greasy. It also helps shrink pores and control shine. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to applying moisturizer now and will continue to do so all summer long so that my skin continues to feel calm, cool and collected.

HOLIFROG Grand Amino Cushion Cream

Rarely do I find a moisturizer that I immediately fall in love with. It usually takes me a while to appreciate what it does for my skin, but when I tried the first Holifrog moisturizer, it was love at first use. This is the perfect transition product from winter to summer because it deeply hydrates without being too heavy. Not only did it provide the perfect amount of moisture for my combination skin, it also gave me a gorgeous natural glow. I have been using it religiously all month!
