How Lancôme Tonique Confort turned a dry-skinned editor into a regular tonic user

Before becoming a beauty editor, I never thought I needed to add toner to my skincare routine. Because I have dry skinI figured any toner would make it even drier. Only in the last few months have I learned about different ways toners can benefit the skin Some formulas can balance pH, remove stubborn dirt, and even hydrate. I started to explore moisturizing tonics и Lancôme Tonique Confort Hydrating Facial Toner immediately grabbed my attention with its gorgeous pink packaging and rave reviews. Luckily, the brand was kind enough to send me a free sample so I could test it out for myself.

My Review of Lancome Tonique Confort Moisturizing Facial Toner

On first use, this formula completely washed away all my preconceptions about tonic. Instead of having a watery texture like I expected, Tonique Confort has a milky, whey-like texture. Formulated with acacia honey, hyaluronic acid and sweet almond oil, it gently removes dirt, excess oil and makeup like most toners, while nourishing, softening and soothing the skin.

Instead of using a cotton swab, I like to pour a little on my hands and rub it into my skin. I feel like it really prepares my skin for the rest of my skincare - when using this toner as the first step in my routine, the rest of my products absorb into my skin easily. I also appreciate that the silky formula absorbs quickly, leaving me fresh and radiant.

I also appreciate that a little goes a long way. Although I have been using it for several months, the bottle is still more than three-quarters full. It's also the prettiest toner I've ever seen - I confess I get a little dizzy when I find a product that's not only beautiful, but also has an impressive formula.

It's been almost three months since I first started using Tonique Confort and it has helped my skin stay hydrated. The transition from fall to winter usually makes my skin twitchy and unbearably dry, but that didn't happen this year and I attribute that to incorporating this extra hydrating step into my routine.

After using this product, it's hard to believe that I once thought that toners weren't needed - my skincare now feels incomplete when I'm not using it. This is one product that I will definitely refill over and over again.
