I Wear It Cosmetics New CC+ Matte for 12 hours…Here's What Happened

If you have oily skin like me, then you know how hard it is to achieve a matte complexion in the heat of summer. No matter how many mattifying products I put on, my skin looks smooth and shiny by 5 o'clock. Blotting paper and translucent powder help temporarily, but it's never too long before my sebaceous glands show me who's boss. Perhaps worst of all is how this excess oil affects my makeup. By the end of the day, my foundation often runs down my face and ends up ruining my look.

But these complaints are not just a way for me to talk about my skin. My friends can attest that I have been looking long and hard for a product that can keep sebum under control, especially during the summer. So when It Cosmetics launched a new oil-free matte product for their Your Skin But Better collection, I really hoped it would be the solution to my long struggle with oily skin. To find out, I tried it after I got a free sample from the brand for review purposes. Does IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40 provide all-day oil control? Keep reading to find out in our full product review!

IT COSMETICS DOES YOUR SKIN BUT BETTER CC+ OIL-FREE MATTE CREAM WITH SPF 40

After the wild success of their Your Skin But Better™ CC+™ Cream SPF 50+, the brand is showing a love for oily skin types with this mattifying take on the original formula. This full coverage formula has been clinically tested and boasts seven benefits in one. You can use this product as a full coverage matte foundation, broad spectrum SPF 40 UVA/UVB physical sunscreen, brightening color corrector, hydrating anti-aging serum to minimize the appearance of pores, dark spot concealer and/or moisturizing day cream. . Much to my delight, the formula reduces shine and helps control excess sebum for up to 12 hours.

If that's not enough to make you happy, here's another one: there are 12 different shades to choose from. This may not sound like much compared to the 20-40+ shades available in some foundations, but for the most part, BB and CC creams tend not to boast too many shades, which makes a wider range of IT Cosmetics is a big step forward. the right direction for inclusion.

IT COSMETICS DOES YOUR SKIN BUT BETTER CC+ OIL-FREE MATTE CREAM WITH SPF 40 OVERVIEW

So, does this mattifying CC cream last? On a hot summer day in New York, I personally tested it to find out.

One of the first things I noticed about this CC cream is its thick consistency, similar to what you would expect from a foundation. Instead of turning into a liquid mush before application, it stuck together and had a cooling, hydrating feel. Using a makeup blending sponge, I applied an even layer of the product to my face. The cream definitely provides full coverage, but not in a way that makes your skin look clammy or heavy. A little definitely goes a long way. Two of my biggest skin concerns were visibly improved when I applied this CC cream, the first of which was excess oil. Secondly, the appearance of my skin. The appearance of my skin has visibly improved and my skin is even and matte.

To really test this product, I kept the cream on my skin for a full 12 hours without reapplying. In fact, I hardly looked in the mirror to check for stains or fading, for fear that this would cause me to abort the test. When the 12 hours were up, I was amazed at the results. I expected my skin to look like a disco ball, but it doesn't. Other than a slight sheen in the T-zone, my skin looked the same as when I first applied the CC+ cream. Was it a miracle or just luck? It was neither one nor the other, just a really good product. So, my colleagues with oily skin, I recommend that you definitely try this CC cream.
