This all-in-one water gel sunscreen is a must in my summer skincare routine.

As trite as it may sound, I sincerely look forward to the launch new sunscreens every summer. Of course I have all time favorites that I always turn to when I'm in trouble (look at you Ultra face cream Kiehl's SPF 30), but there's something about testing a new formula that got me excited. The last one that hit my vanity thanks to a free sample from the brand was Lancôme UV Expert Aquagel Sunscreen SPF 50. Sunscreen claims to double makeup primer and moisturizer is a multi-tasking dream combination for every beauty lover. For a whole week, I decided to apply sunscreen every day to see what benefits it really had for my skin. After washing and drying my face in the morning, I evenly applied the formula to the skin. The first thing I noticed is that it has the consistency of a light, watery lotion that goes unnoticed and absorbs quickly into the skin. There was absolutely no white coating, no stickiness and no strong smell - so far so good. 

Because this formula doubles as a primer and moisturizer, this sunscreen was the only step in my skin care routine. Not only did this save me time and energy, but I was also looking forward to applying it in the morning. I also noticed that the formula made my skin glow and left me feeling cool and comfortable. After giving it about two minutes to fully absorb into my skin, I applied a light layer Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation 24h with a beauty sponge that made my skin look natural, healthy and radiant. By the end of the day my makeup looked as good as it did at 8am. I was blown away, to say the least, by how the formula helped my makeup last all day.

This primer, moisturizer, and SPF hybrid is suitable for all skin types, but it will specifically tackle any dryness you're dealing with.
