This could be the greatest SPF hack EVER

If you're even a little into makeup, you've probably already tried some contouring and highlighting options—usually through beauty products. But we think the coolest way to contour actually involves some of your skin care products. After talking with celebrity L'Oréal makeup artist Sir John, we learned about Hack SPF which will help to give your face the perfect contour. 

Sir John came up with this SPF trick to achieve true highlighter and contour like I'm awake. You will not only protecting your skin from the sun's harsh UV rays, but you'll also get a contoured glow that might just make you want to apply foundation.

How to make a highlighter and contour with SPF

"Whenever you're at the beach or when you're in the sun, apply SPF 15-20 wherever your skin is exposed to give your face a veil of protection' says Sir John. “Then take SPF 50-80 and apply it under the eyes, down the center of the nose, and a little bit on the brow bone as a highlight. Now are you ready to go lay out!” For higher SPF we recommend CeraVe SPF 50 Sun Stick or SuperGoop Glow Stick Sunscreen.

Just remember to reapply every two hours to avoid burning yourself - and adjust the required amount of SPF depending on what works best for your skin.

Once you're back inside and have had enough sun for the day, cleanse your face of all SPF (which can clog pores). Result: You'll have a brighter, more defined look in areas where you've applied a higher SPF, and a slightly deeper natural contour in areas with a lower SPF. It will look so flawless and natural that you won't even need a concealer.
