Quick question: what are skin care capsules and how to use them?

Products on the go come in handy when you need a little skin care but have very little space to pack. These tiny capsule-shaped capsules contain cleansing oils or serums designed to remove make-up, cleanse and hydrate or otherwise improve the condition of the skin. we chatted with Jone Marquez, Global Educator at Eve Lom to learn more.

What are cleansing capsules and how do they work?

According to Marquez, most skincare capsules contain a blend of oils that tone, cleanse, and hydrate the skin. “Cleansing capsules contain ingredients like eucalyptus, clove, and Egyptian chamomile to help keep pores clear,” he says. “They can also contain omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids to keep skin hydrated and supple like Eve Lom Cleansing Oil Caps«. 

To use the capsules, simply twist to remove the top of the capsule and squeeze out the contents. For Even Lom Cleansing Capsules, apply to skin in circular motions and rinse with water. “Oils are designed to balance oily skin as well as hydrate dry skin,” Marquez says, so they can be used for any skin type.
