How to Draw Princess Celestia

Princess Celestia has been the ruler of the pony country Equestria for over a thousand years. Together with her, her sister, Princess Luna, rules. The moon rules Princess Moon, and the sun is Princess Celestia. Princess Celestia has a special mark on her thighs - a golden sun, which reveals her ability to control the movement of the sun. She belongs to a special race of ponies - alicorns, which have a horn like unicorns, as well as wings like pegasi. She has multi-colored hair that always develops even if there is no wind. Princess Celestia is a very kind and wise ruler, and she has a good sense of humor, always calm and confident. On this, we will finish her biography and proceed to the drawing lesson of Princess Celestia. Now we will look at how to draw Princess Celestia with a pencil step by step.

Step 1. Let's start drawing Princess Celestia from the head, for this we will draw a circle. I would recommend taking an A4 sheet, because. It is not small at all and there are many small details. Take a pencil, preferably hard-soft (HB), slightly pressing, draw reference lines: a circle and a straight line. Look at the original and decide on the scale of the head, the circle should be small, otherwise the princess will not fit on the sheet. The straight line defines the direction and location of the eyes.

Step 2. Draw the forehead, snub nose and mouth, copying the lines from the picture. We do not press hard on the pencil, we actively use the eraser, achieving the desired result. Then we start drawing the horn, she has a long one, about two of her heads somewhere. Then we draw the contour of the eye, for this we draw a circle and “dance” from it, it’s easier than drawing the whole eye at once. Then we erase this circle, because we don't need her anymore.

Step 3. We draw the eye of Princess Celestia, remove the eyelashes, making them large, then the pupil. We click on the picture to enlarge the image, and not sit and squint in both eyes.

Step 4. Draw the ear (what sticks out on top of the head - this will be the ear), neck and body. Auxiliary circles after everything has been drawn, we erase with an eraser as unnecessary.

Step 5. We draw a crown. Well, what can I say, as we see, so we draw.

Step 6. We draw the luxurious developing hair (or mane, as you like) of Princess Celestia.

Step 7. We take an eraser and erase the crossed lines, as in the figure, they are of no use to us. Where these lines are and how they should look marked in red.  When you erase everything, you need to draw a nostril (nose), marked in blue, so as not to be forgotten.

Step 8. Draw the legs (hooves) of Princess Celestia. Don't forget about scale, the length of the legs is approximately the same as from the bottom of the torso to the crown

Step 9. We draw a necklace and a wing, we erase unnecessary details.

Step 10. Draw a ponytail.

Step 11 We draw a mark on the thigh, decorate the hooves, necklace and crown.

Step 12. We take what is at hand, colored pencils, felt-tip pens, watercolor, gouache and sit coloring.
