How to draw a baby dolphin

In this lesson, you will learn how to draw a dolphin easily and simply for children in stages for a child aged 6,7,8,9,10 years old. Dolphins are mammals of the cetacean order. The word dolphin is of Greek origin and means newborn baby. They are very mobile, dexterous predators, live in all seas, sometimes rise high into the rivers. They feed mainly on fish and shellfish. They live in groups. Once I saw a flock of dolphins hunting for pelengas, I don’t remember what time of the year it was, it was near Mount Apuk (Crimea), they constantly surfaced, so I was happy like an elephant. There was another case, we went to swim in the summer at dusk at sea, and for some reason they didn’t swim, it was cool and we stood near the water and talked. Here we look at a dark spot right under the shore and snorts, twisted and swam along the shore (probably caught shrimp). I ran after him along the entire beach, he swam, spun, snorted. After that, I walked happily all week. Yeah, emotions are running high, even as I write. Okay, let's draw now.

Step 1. Draw the body of the dolphin approximately as in the picture. We set the direction of the head with two lines, the circle is the head. These lines should be slightly visible.

Step 2. We draw a muzzle. First of all, we draw the outlines of the nose and mouth, then the eye in the form of three circles (look at the picture, click on it to enlarge). the cub smiles, draw a cheek, the contours of his eyes (inside the cheek, marked with red arrows) are erased with an eraser. Color the pupil black. We will peek out the second eye a little. Then we draw an eyebrow and a hole at the top through which he will breathe.

Step 3. We draw fins and a tail. We draw lines where the abdomen is, it is white in them. At the bottom, three lines mean that the tail is in motion (if you notice, cartoons often use such tricks to convey movement).

Step 4. Take the eraser and erase the lines inside the fin. That's all the dolphin is ready.
