How to draw a landscape with gouache step by step

In this lesson we will look at how to draw a landscape in gouache step by step for beginners. We draw spring or early summer, the bright colors of nature, wild flowers, sunrise, morning, fog have already appeared. Very beautiful. This drawing embodies the tenderness and sensuality of nature, its beauty and harmony. This drawing of a landscape with gouache is drawn quite quickly and easily.

First we draw the background. For it, we mix purple, yellow and blue paints with white and carefully compare the borders. Should be pastel colors.

On the palette, mix purple paint with white so that it only slightly stands out from the background. We apply strokes of an almost dry brush (it is better to take bristles) so as to form distant trees. If there is no ready-made purple gouache, then it can be obtained by mixing blue and a little red paint.

You can immediately leave (bypass) small stripes - future rays of light. Or you can add them at the end with a semi-dry brush. At the same time, it is necessary to slowly form the coast. Let's add a little green and a little black paint to the palette to make it a little darker than the most distant trees.

The closest trees will be seen more clearly, so let's draw them clearer and brighter. You can even sprinkle a little yellow paint from the brush. We paint again with an almost dry brush. You can already start to draw the river, mixing blue, yellow, green and white paint.

On the right side of the picture, draw the other side. Since we have fog, the trees will not be clearly visible. We will also draw the distant ones by mixing purple, white and a little black paint. In the colors of the near bush, add yellow and a little bit of green paint.

Let's go through the background with white paint - you can sprinkle a little from the brush. With an almost dry brush, we rub white gouache on the rays. Let's take quite a bit for this and try it first on a piece of paper, so as not to spoil it with a rough white blot. The rays should stand out quite a bit. We will also rub a small strip near the far shore to get the glow of the water. And then with a thin brush, apply horizontal highlights. Sprinkle some white paint on the water.

Let's draw burdock branches in the foreground with ocher, green and brown paint. On each top - burdock. Around them and the stems we will make a white-yellow shaggy edge. Add some green paint to the stems.

On the boxes of burdock we will draw dark dots, blooming white flowers, and next to it is another dried up last year's burdock. Darken the front edge, draw grass and small dots of yellow and white flowers.
