How to draw ice cream with a pencil step by step

In this lesson we will look at how to draw a beautiful ice cream with a pencil step by step. I think that everyone loves ice cream, me too, but I don’t eat it, because I immediately have a sore throat. Therefore, I only dream and remember its taste. Now there are a lot of different types of ice cream: both on a stick and in edible and non-edible cups, just like a sandwich, chocolate, with nuts, with jam, frozen juice, etc. etc. Many examples can be given. Since it's getting hot outside, summer is just around the corner in a week, I decided that we should try to draw ice cream.

So, we set the shape, the lower part is in the form of a triangle with a blunt end, the upper part is similar to the fire of a torch. We begin to draw the top of the ice cream.

We continue, we have a cherry on top, the cup is made of waffles and wrapped, we will separate this edge with a curve at the bottom of the cup.

We draw stripes in one direction on the cup, then in the other. The sketch is ready.

Now let's shade the most delicious. First, outline the relief of the ice cream with curved lines, then begin to darken the bends themselves and the bottom, making the top of each part a little lighter than the bottom. Change the tone of the pencil by varying the degree of pressure on it. We take a softer pencil or a different color and draw stripes of jam on ice cream in a darker tone. We color the cherry.

Now we paint over the squares with a light tone, while leaving the places white in the middle, only paint over the sides (look at the picture carefully), paint over almost completely to the left and right, then paint over the edges and bottom with a darker tone. Refer to the original image, if it is not very clear, the shadow transition is clearly visible there.
