How to draw a horse with a pencil in squares

Now we will draw the horse, side view. This lesson is for beginners, even those who have never drawn will be able to do it, and those who have drawn even more so. Horses come in different breeds, some are long-legged, others have shorter legs, some have an elongated body, others not so much, i.e. they are all different, just like we are humans. So we will draw the usual most common horse, I don’t know what kind of breed she has, there will be a breed just a horse.

Step 1. We take a regular sheet of A4 paper, if you take less, I think it will be hard to draw. I drew on A4. Now we need to mark the sheet with thin, barely noticeable lines. We take a ruler and a pencil, and measure 3 cm each, starting from the bottom (horizontally) seven strips, and vertically seven strips of 3 cm each. Each square should be 3 by 3 cm. Step 2. We draw the body of the horse focusing on the squares, these are our saviors in scaling, no need to rack your brains by displaying the projection of the drawing on paper.

Step 3. We draw normal hooves, I deliberately enlarged it very much so that it was clearly visible how and what. Those. according to the existing contours, which were drawn in paragraph 2, we apply other lines marked in black.

Step 4. We have already drawn the hooves, now we point the horse's hind legs and draw a shaggy tail, on the tail we make more lines than in the figure to make a normal tail.

Step 5. We draw the horse's head, not forgetting to focus on the squares. We also draw ears, an eye and a nostril.

Step 6. We draw a bang and a mane on our horse, again, more lines than in the picture, so that there is a good head of hair.

Step 7. Outline all the fatter lines, that's it, your horse is ready, but you were afraid.

Step 8. Anyone who wants can take a soft pencil and try to copy, transfer chiaroscuro on the horse's body. Transfer the shadow, either pressing harder on the pencil, or weaker, in some places you can walk several times with a pencil, somewhere you need an eraser. Just make it look like it, since everything depends on the lighting, the sun will shine a little differently, and the shadow on the horse will be displayed in a completely different way. So it's not worth making an exact copy.
