And this holiday takes its origins from the Celtic people, who celebrated the end of the harvest in Scotland and Ireland, and was called Samhain. The holiday took place on the night of October 31 to November 1, later it was renamed All Saints Day with the arrival of Catholics, which was celebrated on November 1. With the migration of peoples, this holiday became popular in North America, famous pumpkin lamps appeared, because. the product is cheap, and later they began to dress up in different costumes of the dead. On Halloween, children dress up in different costumes and go from house to house begging for sweets. And now there are whole carnivals and Halloween shows.
