How to draw mountains with a pencil

Now we will look at how to draw mountains with a pencil in stages for beginners, using hatching with different pencils, creating different tones from dark to light. We will need a lot of pencils of different softness, who do not have so many will create tones even taking into account the pressure on the pencil. So, we need 5H, 4H, 3H, 2H, HB, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 7B and 8B pencils. The purpose of this lesson is to practice building shades and practice shading with a pencil. First, we will draw a sketch of the mountains.

The picture shows with which pencil it is necessary to hatch a single mountain.

Let's start with the leftmost mountain, paint over it with 8B with a pencil, the mountain that is slightly higher than 7B, which is the leftmost one - 6B.

Behind that mountain, which was painted over with 6B, we paint over 5B with a pencil, the next 4B, behind it, which is in the middle of 3B.

We make the hatching of the leftmost mountain 2B, followed by the mountain HB, followed by 2H.

We hatch the sky with 5H, the extreme right mountain - 4H, which in the middle is 3H. Our mountain landscape is ready.
