How to draw a church with domes
In this lesson we will look at how to draw a church with domes with a pencil step by step.
Here is the original, I don’t know what kind of church, we will make trees and shrubs around it.
We draw a straight line at the bottom of the sheet and a base in the middle. Click on the picture to enlarge.
We finish drawing the buildings of the church.
Draw a roof.
Then draw a dome with a cross on top, a roof on the left and a dome with a cross.
Draw the top of the church on the right side of the building with a dome and in the middle a dome that rises above the rest of the domes.
We draw a window in different departments of the building, a door and additional sections of the church.
We begin to detail, paint over the roof and draw stucco molding (relief of the church, columns? I don’t know what it’s called exactly).
We continue to paint over the roof, paint over the windows, draw additional small windows.
We shade the left part of the church darker, so there is a shadow, paint over the domes, make a darker tone from below and to the left.
We draw trees using the curl method, see the lesson about the Christmas tree if you don’t know.
We make more bushes at the foot of the church, make smaller curls on the left, add a trunk and some tree branches.
We make the base of the trees dark in the same way.
We add shadows to the large windows, we also add shadows on the left side of the church and on the left of each dome and turret on which the dome stands. We also add shadows under each roof and at the base of the church. Something with the cross did not work out for me, I fixed it. I didn’t detail the church building much, if you want the original image, you can make it more beautiful.
