How to Draw an Angel for Christmas

The first stage of drawing will be the designation of the general features of the angel. In the form of a circle we draw a head, and a dress we draw a triangular shape. At the same time, the sides of the dress do not have straight lines, they are slightly convex, pay attention to this.

First draw the arms folded together, then the sleeves. After that, proceed to the hair. Notice that the head is tilted down, so the bangs are below the middle of the head, and the top of the head is in the area marked with an asterisk. When we have drawn the hair, we draw the nymphs on the head, but it is not on top, as is usually drawn, but is located directly on the head, like a hoop.

Draw the wings of an angel. At the bottom of the dress, draw a curve just above the bottom and proportionally draw three small circles.

Next draw the closed eyes. We decorate clothes with dots on the sleeves and at the bottom of the dress. Draw a collar near the throat. That's all the angel is ready. It remains only to paint.

Next, erase all unnecessary lines. We color the hair, the edges of the sleeves, the collar and the bottom of the skirt with yellow. You can paint with colored pencils, felt-tip pens, gouache, watercolor or other paint. Colored pencils were used in this drawing of the angel.

Now for the shadows we use orange. We use several colors for the face: yellow and reddish tint, maybe crimson.

Now color the wings and the white dress blue, and highlight the shadows blue.
