Say no to piercing guns!

One of the most frequently asked questions we get in our studio is "why don't you use piercing guns?". A fair question, and we are glad that our clients ask such questions and think about their body modifications and how they will be done by piercing professionals.

The short answer to this question is that most stabbing pistols are not safe. This may be due to the cleanliness of the gun itself, the associated blunt force trauma, and the jewelry that is used when the gun is pierced.

Take a look at this infographic below where we break down what the risks really are:

At Pierced, all of our piercers have gone through an intensive training program where they learn about human anatomy, safe piercing techniques, sterilization, and professional bedside manners.

We strive to offer an extremely sterile, safe and comfortable environment. All procedures take place in our private piercing room in our studio, for the comfort and safety of our clients.

We only pierce with disposable needles and instruments. Everything that was used to flash one client has never been used on another client, and never will be. We have also sterilized all your jewelry upon arrival at our studio.
