Ritual for sleep

Before reaching for medication, try learning how to fall asleep. Sometimes it is enough to change some habits so that sleep comes like a cat - imperceptibly.

Everyone needs it. During sleep, the body and mind relax, recover, and the subconscious comes to the fore, so useful in solving life's problems. That is why it is worth fighting for. In this struggle - sometimes quite difficult - the method of the American personal development coach Steve Pavlin, who developed a stress-free method of falling asleep, will help.

It is based on mastering a certain ritual, or rather on creating your own scenario for falling asleep and calm awakening. Set aside half a day alone (for example, on a weekend) to learn this.

In the bedroom, open the window, let it air out, and go to the bathroom yourself, wash yourself and put on your pajamas. Put an amethyst under your pillow (helps you fall asleep), cover yourself with a duvet, set your alarm for “in a few minutes”, lie down and close your eyes. Calm down and start imagining that you are falling asleep, your body is heavy, and your thoughts are fluttering. When the alarm goes off, calmly turn it off.

Stretch, take a deep breath, then smile to yourself and stand up. Put on your slippers and either go to the bathroom or make yourself a coffee - choose what relaxes you more (the smell of your favorite soap or caffeine?). Repeat after 30 minutes and then 5-6 more times. The next day, your brain remembers your program and learns a new trick. So go to work and... good dreams!
