Walsh has no doubt that the words he wrote down (he is the author of a series of books on automatic writing called Conversations with God) were "dictated" by his Creator. But it's not always so clear. According to the words recorded during such sessions, the souls of the dead, angels or aliens from outer space are in contact with people (or at least that's how they present themselves). It is also possible that in this way we come into contact not with supernatural beings, but simply with our own subconscious. But even if this is true, through such “encounters” we gain self-awareness and know ourselves better. And it helps us manage our lives.

Channeling, as the phenomenon is called, has a dark side and can be dangerous entertainment. By allowing ourselves to be an instrument, we place our body under the control of other beings. And not all of them are friendly to us. Therefore, only people with a high degree of spiritual development should engage in channeling. However, before we make such attempts, let's ask ourselves why we seek contact with immaterial beings at all. If we are driven by curiosity, we'd better give it up. If, on the other hand, we are looking for answers to some questions, let's think about who we would like to turn to. Then the chance to attract the energy (spiritual guide) that we most need will increase.

How to listen to a voice not of this world?

1. Prepare a piece of paper and something to write on. It should be something you use every day: a pen, pencil, etc. Or your computer - you just need to turn off autocorrect and autofill so they don't obscure content. Disconnect the equipment from the Internet so that nothing interferes with the transfer.

2. Take care of the right atmosphere. Choose a time of day when nothing will distract you for at least 20 minutes. Take care not only of the right lighting, but also of the room temperature and comfortable clothing. Otherwise, you will not be able to fully relax. You can also clear the atmosphere by lighting candles or incense sticks. Some wash their hands before the session. This is not necessary, but it helps to symbolically disconnect from everyday affairs and open up to contact with energies.

3. Concentrate on your breath for a few minutes. Straighten your back and slowly take a few deep breaths. Then ask for protection from an angel or your spirit guide. To do this, you can say (mentally) the words: “I am protected by love and light. Let my body become an instrument of good, remaining deaf to everything else.

4. Take a pen in your hand or place your fingers on the keyboard. Think about it, or better yet, write a question or issue you want advice on at the top of the page. If you don't have specific expectations, it could be a contact request ("Energio, write with my hand"). Establishing the first contact usually takes a long time. The channelers describe this moment as if someone suddenly grabbed their arm or a current ran through it. Don't panic at this moment! Relax, focus on steady breathing, and let yourself be guided. Don't expect the energy to write a long letter right away with your hand. At first, it may not even be words, but just a simple drawing - a few circles, dashes or waves.

5. Get to know your spirit guide. When you feel someone's presence, ask who they are, why they are here, and what their intentions are. If you have not received a response, you may be dealing with low beings with impure intentions. In this case, terminate the session unconditionally: put down the pen, breathe deeply until you regain control of your hand. If he answers, thank them (spiritual guides are sensitive to disrespect!). Do not try to control what is happening - it only interferes. So think about what you're doing. When the hand becomes lethargic and completely relaxed, this is a sign that the transfer is over.
