Planetary demons (part 1)

How much do we, modern people, lose by not believing in spirits, gods and demons?

How much do we, modern people, lose by not believing in spirits, gods and demons?…

But demons don't mind if someone doesn't believe them - they hurt anyway. We must have stopped believing in them… out of fear! We were so afraid of them that we decided to pretend that they were not there. And we were afraid of the demons because we felt helpless before them. Because even church-certified exorcists cannot cope with many.

Why have we been and remain helpless? Because for centuries Westerners have thought that demons have to be fought. The ancient Greeks told of Heracles' battle with the Hydra, a monster whose heads grew back. He could not cut off the last head, but only hit the Hydra with a boulder, under which the demon still lives. This is a parable about how Westerners fight demons - and still cannot defeat them.

Because you don't fight demons. For them there is a completely different advice: they are fed. When they fill up, they disappear. And even more: they turn into allies.

This is the only correct shamanic approach to them developed in Tibetan Buddhism. This is stated in the book of Lama Tsultrim Allione. Feed Your Demons is a real guide to working with them.

Demons don't have to look like stuffed animals. Much more often they manifest themselves as our shortcomings, incapacities, life obstacles, addictions, complexes - and as illnesses, both mental and "ordinary".

Once understood in this way, one can study astrology. Because many of them resemble what the planets do to us.

It's easiest to notice Demons of Mars: anger, rage and aggression. We know people who are sick with anger. They get angry at specific people, make enemies, look for those enemies, or stay angry. Sometimes they act like they've been possessed by some kind of demon. This Martian demon can also be transmitted from person to person, like a virus: someone so charged fusses over another person, it is played out on a third - and the demon goes out into the world.

The demons of Jupiter seem less vicious and can even pass off positive energy as virtues. The main demon of Jupiter is called the Sea! He encourages people to have more and more, to acquire more and more, often pouring concrete into the ground unnecessarily. Under his influence, some are building business empires, while others are building all-powerful parties.

Demons of Venus... Can this planet of love and harmony give birth to demons? May be! The demon of Venus is jealousy, that is, the desire to have an exclusively loved one. The other is overprotectiveness, an overabundance of a good heart that can't stand the fact that a loved one wants to be independent and has the right to make mistakes.

Saturn has at least a few of its demons. One is conservatism, that is, clinging to what is, because every change and movement seems dangerous. The second is to deny yourself and others pleasure. Third: the imposition of only correct views and only true (supposedly) faith. Fourth: teaching mechanical obedience, bringing people to automatism. And a few more.

And what unpleasant demons arise from the combination of the influences of two different planets, such as the Sun and Saturn! Astrologers would need a course on recognizing demons by horoscope ...
