Moreover - even if it were so, we do not have the relevant knowledge and skills - and the whole process is not at all simple and requires great skill.

How to remove an engraving from a ring or other jewelry?

First, sand a thin layer of metal on which the engraving is located. Later, smooth the surface of the metal - so that there are no traces of engraving. The final stage of the entire project is polishing.

After all, the jewelry looks exactly the same as before - with the difference that there is no engraving on it anymore.
