Tattoo is health!

One of the classic criticisms of people who don't like tattoos is that they are bad for the skin. Only, according to a study conducted by, among other things, the University of Alabama, this argument does not hold up for a second!

Increased immunity

In contrast, research shows that tattooing strengthens the immune system.

The researchers conducting the experiment went to tattoo studios to collect saliva from clients before and after they passed the needle.

Immunoglobulin A levels appear to be dropping because injecting ink under the skin weakens the immune system. But scientists, and this is the most interesting, made another discovery, which shows that the more tattoos people have on their skin, the less their immune defenses are reduced!

So, and this is really good news, the more tattooed a person is, the more likely they are to resist disease because their immune system gets stronger as they get hit by the needles.

Well, the experiment was conducted on only 29 subjects and deserves to be continued, but that's pretty reassuring, isn't it?

Medical tattoo

In the same spirit, Ötzi - the man found in ice and who is the oldest tattooed person in the world known to date - had medical tattoos!

According to the study, 61 tattoos were found on the remains of this venerable tattooed man - grouped lines that sometimes intersect.

Tattoos are located on the wrist, in the lower back, or even on the chest and lower legs. I wonder if they have indicated the places where Ötzi suffered.

We could compare this practice to acupuncture! HappeningÖtzi not isolated because anthropologist Lars Krutak noted that various ethnic groups in the world are currently using tattoo for self-healing!

So this winter, instead of digging a hole in social security by buying a flu shot, the easiest way is to go to your tattoo artist and ask for a good dose of tattoo as a recipe!
