A day with Anya Kruk

I've been going back to the blog for a week now, but something is still getting in the way, which is why this November seems to be so meager in terms of the number of entries (sorry!). It's a hot period in our industry, the star is just a moment away, so I'm still sitting, and this is in production, pushing the latest projects to get to the stores as soon as possible, and then to the page to improve the latest things (and how do you like the new design?) or in marketing to tell you all about our jewelry. In the meantime, we had to go with Wojtek to Warsaw on business in the capital. Do you know the Pleasure portal's series of films "A Day with a Star"? Well, if they filmed a day with me, this trip to Warsaw would be the perfect occasion! We could shoot for two days, so much was going on! And it's not that I don't do anything interesting in Poznań (quite the contrary!), but you know: it always looks good in the media when a little "glamour" is added to ordinary life 😉

The journalists from Plejada missed the opportunity, but what is Instagram for - I will inform you about everything here on the blog so that you can see what running a company looks like from a more beautiful, more media side.

12.11.2013/6.00/2, Tuesday after a long weekend, wake up at XNUMX am. Fog over Poznan. As in the rest, almost always at this time 😉 We are going to Warsaw for XNUMX days, a packed suitcase is already at the door. The suitcase is pretty full. On this day, in addition to meetings, we also have a photo session and an evening event: so I have to take a lot of jewelry and clothes with me. And shoes. And handbags. Life is hard for a woman - my brother just takes a suit with him ...

Our days in Warsaw are always alike in at least one respect: filled with meetings ON THE RIVER. I don't remember how many times I ran to the Central Station to catch the last train to Poznań. And how many times I missed him because the meetings dragged on. And then there is a hole in the schedule, and there is no connection until 23:20 - then, resigned, I check the cinema program in Zloty Tarasy and at least catch up with the film. What are you doing.

We reach the place and barely have time to chat with the girls in the boutique (we start with Galeria Mokotów), we have to go to the first meeting. Then at 12.00 an interview for one of the major Polish magazines. About running your own company, about traditions, about new ideas. It is not known when 2 hours will pass, we quickly eat something and move on, because the whole team in the photo studio is waiting for us.

Photoshoot. The theme is the river. I have one today and another tomorrow evening. It would seem that such a secular life, you are painted, pampered, for a moment you find yourself in the center of attention of everyone in the studio. But trust me, it's also physically demanding work. After two hours you feel very tired, and when the session lasts a whole day, then at the end you are exhausted. When I was little, I ran away from the session as much as I could. And we had to pose from time to time: after all, my dad was a senator for three terms, a businessman known throughout Poland (and in the jewelry industry, which is definitely more interesting for the media than, for example, heavy industry). I have grown out of running away from the camera, now I just smile sweetly and patiently position myself according to the instructions of the photographer. And most importantly: I am me. Of course, the prettier version of herself is in full makeup, but still herself. I have several bad photos behind me, where I am strangely made up, disguised as someone I am not. It's not even that someone lured me into it - I often got carried away myself. I thought wow, this is going to be great, such a lame photo, it looks so great. It's just that photos in which you are not yourself end up in the "unused" folder on your computer. Because they don't say anything about you, it's a portrait of a stranger with your face.

At 18.00 we go to Mokotowska, and we have another thing there: a secret meeting, about which I cannot tell you anything. Dude, maybe it's better if the journalists don't follow me, because nothing would come out of the footage. In general terms, I will say that we are preparing a very pleasant Christmas surprise for you, so stay tuned, because the premiere is already next week! It will be crazy :)

Then we go to the hotel, change clothes, have dinner and go out again. The invitation spoke of effortless elegance. Or something like that, I don't remember. So thankfully I didn't have to attend the gala event (is it just me that everyone in Poland overdresses/changes for every event like it's even an Oscar?). Heels, black leggings and an oversized top were just right. Guess what my brother wore... Oh, right. Suit. What a surprise.

I was wearing:

stainless steel bracelets from the DECO collection / long necklaces from the BOHO CHIC collection / ring from the FASHION collection

We did not allow ourselves to break out into a longer party, because the next day was supposed to be just as eventful. We returned politely at 22.00:XNUMX pm, and The Shawshank Redemption was still on TV. How it ended, I do not remember, because I fell asleep halfway. I think he ends up escaping from this prison, right? 😉
