Tintoretto
Who knows the artist Jacopo Robusti today? But his sonorous pseudonym is probably familiar to everyone. Tintoretto. Like a rhythmic chord, ringing, dancing. And this is just a "little dyer" in translation. Such a nickname in no way corresponded to the scale of this late Renaissance artist (Venice, 16th century). Did Tintoretto himself understand his genius? And how! He wasn't very modest.
