An email signature is a great way to increase the marketing effectiveness of every email you send. By providing key contact information to your contacts, you help buyers, galleries and other contacts stay in touch with you and see more of your wonderful work.

The best part is that it only takes a few minutes to set up an email signature, and then it will automatically appear in every email you've ever sent!

What to include:

  • Your full name

  • The type of artist you are: e.g. painter, sculptor, photographer, etc.

  • Contact Information: Provide a business phone number, email address, postal address, and website.

  • : let your contacts know more about your work (so they will be more likely to buy).

Got more space?

  • Links to your social media pages

  • A high-quality but small image of your work or your logo

How to add an email signature to Gmail:

  1. Click on the gear in the top right corner and go to "Settings".

  2. Scroll down to "Signature" and write your electronic signature. Insert an image by clicking on the insert image icon - it looks like two mountain peaks.

  3. Scroll down the page and click Save Changes.

  4. Voila, done! Your email signature will be at the bottom of every email you send.
